UNIFESSPA IN DEBATE

A debate was held tonight at the campus I auditorium with the presence of some professors and students of UFPA MARABÁ. The debate was about the foundation of the new university which will replace UFPA at the south and southeast of the state of Pará.
A board of professors were invited to compose the discussion with the academic community.
Professors - Vera Jacob (dir. da Associação dos Docentes da UFPA) and Hildete dos Anjos ( coordenadora do campus Universitário de Marabá).
Also Professor Simone Contente (Faculdade de Ciencias Sociais) was the host of the meeting.
It was a great opportunity for everyone to discuss and reflect over the great changes coming soon. It seems the whole community is about to face great challenges with the foundation of a new university and the debate is really important to gather political and social strengh to the scene.

Professor Eliane asked the board if professors and students would be able to decide to continue at UFPA or if they would be automatically transfered to UNIFESSPA.

Professor Nilsa Brito suggested the board to invite other professors and specialists to contribute as well in future debates.
