Slut Walk: women fighting for their rights.

Last Sunday in Belém do Pará, women went to the streets to protest against sexist culture in society and fight for their rights and dignity. Their claims are against those who believe a woman could be judged by her clothes or sexual exposure and consequently, she should be "asking" to be victim of sexual abuse or even rape.
On April 3rd, it took place in Canada the first protest march in defense of women's right, especially after a statement given by a male police-officer who declared: "women should avoid dressing like sluts..
By saying this, Michael Sanguinetti brought about a whole discussion over sexism in society, as well as, the anger of many other social movements around the world.
