One Day Strike!

Last Thursday (April 28th), The professors of the campus gathered at our auditorium in order to discuss questions related to our activities. The central point of the whole meeting was how to articulate labour issues with the government. Here it goes a list of things which were in debate:

- PL 59 (projeto de lei do governo federal).
- Labor Union - a sub union headquarters in Marabá.
- The municipalization of our application school - NPI.
- The foundation of a new university in Marabá - UNIFESSPA.
- A necessity of establishing an agenda for current meetings of professors at the campus.

The One Day Strike was necessary as a first step towards a more effective participation of all professors in a debate which is relevant for all involved to academic and professional activities at the CAMAR.
